Loan Limits
- You must be 18 years or older to checkout Launchpads and DVDs.
- Adults may checkout up to 100 items on their accounts.
- Children may checkout up to 50 items on their accounts.

PRINTING, COPIES & FAX
Whistle Stop/Historical Items
- There is a $.15 per day per item charge for overdue books.
- DVDs and Launchpads have a $1 fine per day they are late.
- For the first 90 days, the maximum fine for an overdue item will be 15 cents per day. After 90 days, an additional collection agency fee of $9.00 will be charged.
Lost Items
- If you lose an item, you will be charged the cost of replacing the item, any accumulated fines, and a processing fee ($3.00 for books, audiobooks, DVDs, CDs, etc). If you find and return a lost item in undamaged condition within 90 days, the cost of the item will be waived. Processing fees and fines are non-refundable.
- Lost library cards can be replaced at the Circulation Desk for a fee of $5.00
Damaged Items
Books:
- Patrons will be charged for the entire cost of the book if it is in our New Collection
- Not New Books: $3 per Children's Book and $5 per Adult Book plus the $3 processing fee.
- Minimal damage: $.25 per page
DVDs/CDs:
Scratches
- (minor): $2 per disc
- (major): Charged for the cost of the item
- Charged for cost of the item.
- Patrons may not replace lost DVDs or CDs.
- Damaged Case: $3 per case
- Damaged paper inserts: $1
Magazines:
- Repairable damages $.10 per page.
- If the magazine is not repairable, the patron will be charged the cost of the magazine plus a $3 processing fee.
- If the magazine is lost, the patron will also be charged for the cost of the magazine.
Puzzles:
- Damaged puzzles will be charged to the patron plus the $3 processing fee. We do not charge for missing pieces.
Labels:
- Barcodes: $3
- Other Labels: $4
Launchpads:
- If a damaged and unrepairable Launchpad is returned by a patron, the patron will be charged in full for the Launchpad. Note: Launchpads are $100+. This price does not include the replacement items below or the $3 processing fee.
- Casing: $7.99 per case
- Bumper: $8.99
- Screen Protector: $4
- Adapter: $9.99
- USB Cord: $6.99
Playaways:
- Damaged or unrepairable Playaways returned by a patron will result in the charge of the entire cost of the Playaway including a $3 processing fee.
- Casing: $5.99
Playaway Views:
- Damaged or unrepairable Playaway Views returned by patrons will result in the charge of the entire cost of the Playaway View, including a $3 processing fee.
- Casing: $5.99 per case
Bookpacks:
- Damaged books will be charged based on the damage of the book (see above).
- Casing: $9.99
- Audio/Playaway: Damaged items will refer to the replacement of the cost of the item.
