Fall Fun at the Library: Events and Activities for All Ages
Join us for a festive Christmas Market right here at the Patmos Library. Get into the holiday spirit by browsing everything that small businesses and crafters in our community have to offer! This market is FREE to get into, and FREE for vendors to participate! If interested in being a vendor, please email us at [email protected]
Join us for another month of Story Time! This months theme is: Its Fall In My Hometown! Story Time is every Wednesday from 11am – 11:45am. There will be no Story Time on Wednesday, Nov. 26th as it is the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
Join us for a magical and cozy evening in as we enjoy a Christmas classic together! Hot cocoa and Christmas cookies will be provided. Wear your PJS and bring your favorite stuffie!
This is the season to spread joy and share delicious treats! Come together with our library community and exchange your favorite holiday cookies at our Christmas Cookie Exchange. December 1st, 2025 @ 6:30pm. All ages welcome!
Now introducing Homeschool Hangout! Swing by every Wednesday from 1pm to 3pm and hangout! The Depot Room during this time can be used for homework, as a lesson space, or for homeschoolers to hang out. Snacks are provided!
Patmos Library presents Tae Kwon Do with Master Maureen Carmody. This family-friendly martial arts class runs September 2025 through May 2026 and is open to ages 9 through adult. Classes are held Thursday evenings in the Depot Room, with two sessions available. Students learn traditional Tae Kwon Do skills that build confidence, focus, respect, and self-defense. Registration is required, and space is limited. To sign up, email [email protected].
Interested in learning how to play Mahjong? Join us on Thursdays at the Patmos Library from 12pm – 3pm to learn! Contact Fran at [email protected] to sign up!
Join us for a gentle yoga exercise class taught by Kim VanDerWiele! Discover a fun way to improve your balance, flexibility, and core strength. This class takes place every Friday for 8 weeks starting October 10th at 10am! Each class is $5. See you soon!
Patmos Pokemon Club is back! Join us at the Library once a month for Pokemon Fun! Ages 6-12
Join us every second Tuesday of each month from 1:30pm to 3:30pm to watch a classic film in the depot room! Our first film will be “Holiday Inn” ft. Bing Crosby! Popcorn and coffee will be provide.
Join us in fighting hunger by donating non-perishable food items throughout the month of November. Donations will be benefiting our local chapter of Hand2Hand. Donations can be dropped off in the main lobby.
Come paint your heart out on November 8th from 10 am to 12 pm! Painting supplies are provided, as well as refreshments. This open paint time is for ages 13 – 17.
Join us every 3rd Monday of each month for our adult book club! We have a fantastic lineup of books ready for you to read. We can’t wait for a lively discussion about each one! As always, snacks will be provided!
Join us for a special Story Time with Santa himself! This Story Time will be held on Friday, December 12th at 11am, instead of our usual Wednesday. Santa will be reading a Christmas classic, and there will be opportunities for photos afterwards!

- You will be limited to 1 pass per year.
- Must be returned one day from check out.
- There will be a $25 fine for late/non-returned passes.
- Library account must be in good standing.
- Passes are available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be placed on hold.
Patmos Book Club
Thanks to all who came out for our 3rd book club of the season. It was great to meet everyone and we had a wonderful discussion!
