Fun events for the whole family at the Patmos Library!

The flyer invites the community to an End of Summer Reading Program Party on Friday, July 31, from 12:00–3:00 PM. Activities include a foam cannon party with Sammy's Party on Wheels, a blow-up slide, yard games, face painting, Patty Matters Food Truck, and Blended 8 Dirty Sodas.

Celebrate another fantastic Summer Reading Program with Patmos Library at our End of Summer Reading Program Party on Friday, July 31, from 12:00–3:00 PM! Bring the whole family for an afternoon of fun featuring a foam cannon party with Sammy’s Party on Wheels, a blow-up slide, yard games, face painting, delicious food from the Patty Matters Food Truck, and refreshing dirty sodas from Blended 8. Join us as we wrap up a summer filled with reading, learning, and adventure with an exciting community celebration for all ages!

Participants who bring their Summer Reading Log can enjoy free bowling with shoe rentals included. The flyer also highlights a VIP bowling section with 12 lanes, craft tables in the banquet room, bowling on a first-come, first-served basis with up to six bowlers per lane and one game per group, and a chance to win a $10 Lucky Strike arcade gift card by turning in a Summer Reading Log to Miss Paige. Multiple winners will be drawn throughout the event.

Celebrate the end of another fantastic Summer Reading Program at Patmos Library’s Readers On A Roll Bowling Bash! Join us on Tuesday, August 4, from 11:00 AM–2:00 PM at Lucky Strike Bowling in Wyoming for free bowling, including shoe rentals, thanks to our generous hosts. Enjoy bowling in the VIP section, craft tables in the banquet room, and a fun afternoon celebrating a summer of reading with family and friends.

The flyer invites all ages to pick up a bookmark template at the Main Desk, create a summer-themed bookmark, and submit it by August 17, 2026. The winner will receive a $25 Amazon gift card and have their bookmark printed for library patrons.

Get creative this summer with Patmos Library’s Summer Bookmark Decorating Contest! Participants of all ages are invited to design a summer-themed bookmark using a template available at the Main Desk. Submit your completed bookmark by August 17, 2026, for a chance to win a $25 Amazon gift card. The winning design will be professionally printed and made available for library patrons to enjoy.

Join us on Tuesday, September 22, from 5:00–8:00 PM, and a portion of all sales during the event will be donated to Patmos Library.
