We are so excited for another month of Storytime at the Patmos Library! This October we will be reading about, and WITH, everyday heroes! Storytime is every Wednesday from 11 am to 11:45 am! Read with a Paramedic on 10/1, a Nurse on 10/8, a Navy Veteran on 10/15, *possibly* with a Fire Fighter on 10/22, and a Police Officer on 10/29!

Join us for another month of Story Time! This months theme is: Its Fall In My Hometown! Story Time is every Wednesday from 11am – 11:45am. There will be no Story Time on Wednesday, Nov. 26th as it is the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.

Join us for a spooktacular Trunk or Treat event at the Patmos Library! October 29th from 5:30 – 7pm. Free candy, a food truck, and tons of family fun! We are also still looking for trunk hosts. If interested in volunteering, sign up with the QR code in the flyer!

Patmos Library presents Tae Kwon Do with Master Maureen Carmody. This family-friendly martial arts class runs September 2025 through May 2026 and is open to ages 9 through adult. Classes are held Thursday evenings in the Depot Room, with two sessions available. Students learn traditional Tae Kwon Do skills that build confidence, focus, respect, and self-defense. Registration is required, and space is limited. To sign up, email [email protected].

Interested in learning how to play Mahjong? Join us on Thursdays at the Patmos Library from 12pm – 3pm to learn! Contact Fran at [email protected] to sign up!

Join us for a gentle yoga exercise class taught by Kim VanDerWiele! Discover a fun way to improve your balance, flexibility, and core strength. This class takes place every Friday for 8 weeks starting October 10th at 10am! Each class is $5. See you soon!

Patmos Pokemon Club is back! Join us at the Library once a month for Pokemon Fun! Ages 6-12

Enter into this fun Pumpkin Carving Contest at Patmos Library! Bring your decorated pumpkins in between Oct. 20th – 22nd. Votes will be tallied October 29th

Join us for a make & take instructional class! Learn how to make your own sourdough from scratch. Class size is limited, register by scanning the QR code.

Come and learn simple exercises and stretches to ease back pain, help with mobility, and cultivate healthy back and spine maintenance. Class is facilitated by Hope Van Dyke, PT, from Renewed Physical Therapy! Free & for all ages! 10/27 at 6:30 pm

Join us in fighting hunger by donating non-perishable food items throughout the month of November. Donations will be benefiting our local chapter of Hand2Hand. Donations can be dropped off in the main lobby.

Come paint your heart out on November 8th from 10 am to 12 pm! Painting supplies are provided, as well as refreshments. This open paint time is for ages 13 – 17.

For adults 50 and older. Build Balance is a specialized exercise program developed to help active older adults improve balance, as well as build strength and coordination. $5 per class.

- This offer is only valid for ONE DAY admission for up to 6 people.

- There will be a $25 fine for late/non-returned passes.
- Library account must be in good standing.
- Passes are available on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be placed on hold.


Patmos Book Club
Thanks to all who came out for our 2nd book club of the season. It was great to meet everyone and we had a wonderful discussion!
Please join us on October 20th, 2025 at 6pm to discuss our next book, “Magpie Murders” by Anthony Horowitz. Refreshments will be provided.
