Discover a creative new way to turn words into art at our Blackout Poetry Workshop! In this hands-on session, teens will transform ordinary book pages into powerful poems and bold visual designs by selecting words and “blacking out” the rest of the text. The result is a one-of-a-kind piece that combines poetry, creativity, and visual expression. No poetry experience is needed—just bring your imagination. Participants will learn the basics of blackout poetry, explore examples, and create their own unique works to take home. All supplies will be provided. Get ready to level up your sewing game with a fun hand sewing class focused on creating apple core patchwork designs! Class is limited to 15 people. Join us every 3rd Monday of each month for our book club. We meet at 6pm, and refreshments are provided. Come read with us! Book club will take a break during the summer months and resume again in September.

Join us for Gentle Yoga every Friday at 10am for nine weeks starting February 6th and running through March 27th. Each class is $5 and is instructed by Kimberly VanDerWiele. Registration is required!

Now introducing Homeschool Hangout! Swing by every Wednesday from 1pm to 3pm and hangout! The Depot Room during this time can be used for homework, as a lesson space, or for homeschoolers to hang out. Snacks are provided!

Patmos Library presents Tae Kwon Do! This family-friendly martial arts class runs September 2025 through May 2026 and is open to ages 9 through adult. Classes are held Thursday evenings in the Depot Room, with two sessions available. To sign up, email [email protected].
